All-Terrain Rescue is an organization founded in 1984 in Sherbrooke to address a need in the field of extreme sports, such as caving, climbing, and diving, by offering specialized first aid services in areas where safety is often neglected. This initiative predates the creation of LOVE Bélier and was formed following recommendations from the Sûreté du Québec (Quebec Provincial Police) on June 17, 1983, which identified a gap in rescue services in these environments.
